Picture That is currently purchasing art for several inpatient and outpatient Healthcare Facilities located in New England. 
 
The Healthcare Facilities will provide specialized services including but not limited to:
Ambulatory Surgery
GI Suites
Medical Oncology
Chemotherapy and Infusion Centers with Adjacent Healing Gardens
Breast Care Centers
Radiology
Laboratories with draw station and Pharmacies
Pediatrics Clinics (for Infants, Toddlers and Adolescents)
Urgent Care / Walk-In Centers
 
Locations that require art include:  Lobbies, Reception and Waiting Areas, Corridors, Conference Rooms, Treatment Rooms, Patient Rooms, Exam Rooms, Physician Offices, Break Rooms & Cafes. 
 
Artwork purchased for these facilities will play an active role in creating a calm, comfortable and restorative environment for patients and families undergoing treatment and receiving healthcare services.  This is an excellent opportunity for your artwork to promote healing while also having a positive emotional impact.
 
 
DESIRED MEDIA 
We are interested in FIVE CATEGORIES of unframed and unmatted Art:
Category I - Originals (Paintings, Collage, Watercolors, Drawings, Mixed Media, etc.)
Category II - Limited Edition Prints (Lithographs, Serigraphs, Etchings, Engravings, Woodcuts, etc.)
Category III - Photography and Giclee Prints
Category IV - Open Edition Prints and Posters
Category V - Sculpture and other 3 dimensional work

 
DESIRED THEMES
Content and color palettes should promote tranquility, healing and wellness.  A mixture of landscapes, waterscapes and botanicals of Connecticut and New England imagery is preferred.  We are equally interested in figurative work that is inclusive of diverse cultures and generations.   Other keywords for direction are compassionate, warm, transitional, homelike, non-denominational spirituality and nurturing.


 GEOGRAPHIC SCOPE
The use of Artists residing in New England and the NYC Tri-State Area is preferred.  Artists residing outside of these geographic areas will also be considered; especially those with compelling New England and Diversity themes. While artists from other locations may apply, we are unable to cover the cost of shipping and insurance to transport works located outside of the New England and Tri-State areas. 
 
REQUIRED MATERIALS
1. Ten(10) digital images as jpg files of artwork to be considered; 150 dpi or greater (3.5" in size).  Name the jpg files the same as artwork title.
 
2. Artist Bio and/or Artist Statement (Word documents or text files are acceptable).

3.  A listing of the 10 works including: title, year created, medium, size (height x width x depth), price and geographic location and/or culture reflected where applicableInclude special hanging instructions if required.
