For Love or Money at SoCal Code Camp

This weekend I will be a guest speaker at the Southern California CodeCamp. SoCal CodeCamp is the largest CodeCamp in the country, followed by South Florida CodeCamp.  While I'm there, I'm going to learn how to make our IT community even stronger., Orlando, a huge success!

I serve as Treasurer of the ITProCamp non-profit organization and we will be running ITProCamp in seven cities around Florida annually.  I would like to thank the team, without whose support these events would not be possible.

Meet the team
Janina Acosta - IT Talent Agent

I began my career in the operations and administrative field in 2005 where I worked in the Real Estate industry for 5 years. I worked in various positions included Director of Operations, sales and property management. In 2010, I joined SherlockTech as the Office Manager and was responsible for the day-to-day operations and management including payroll, accounting and marketing liaison. One day I woke up and decided it was time to change from being behind the scenes to being in front of people. That's when I started in my current role of IT Talent Agent.

When I am recruiting and managing accounts, I have the opportunity to learn something new everyday and more than anything, help people.

“I love working at SherlockTech because we have a talented team and I am proud to have a role in growing our great reputation within the user group community, by building relationships with the candidates I meet, presenting our clients with great talent and building long lasting partnerships.”
