The
Stickman action figure has a bajillion points of articulation, so he
can get into any pose. And each leg and arm ends in a hole that can
connect to one more ball jointed peg on the action base - which means
you can balance him on one hand or one leg. Snap in the warning sign
backdrop, and you create any sign you can imagine. Warn folks that the
breakroom is an authorized "Handstand Zone" or that the leaking water
cooler is a "Swimming Zone." With the Stickman Action Figure, your
office can always be the official "Party Zone" - just add some sticky
note confetti to the backdrop!
The number of U.S. temporary workers fell in
the third quarter in the sharpest drop since the 2 001-2002 recession, the
American Staffing Association reported today.
Staffing firms
employed an average of 2.7 million temporary and contract workers per day in
the third quarter, down 11.8% from the third quarter of last year, according to
the ASA's quarterly survey.
The number is also
down 2.8% from the second quarter.
Real average weekly earnings rose by 1.4% in
October from September, according to preliminary, seasonally adjusted data
released today by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. The increase stemmed
from a 0.2% increase in average hourly earnings combined with a 1.2% decrease
in the consumer price index for urban wage earners and clerical workers.
Average weekly
earnings were $612.19 in October before seasonal adjustment and inflation,
compared with $594.88 a year earlier.
