Tuesday, June 30th in Miami as HDS - South Florida continues its
Inaugural Year celebration with its Summer doubleheader, featuring
University of Miami CIO, Dr. M. Lewis Temares, and HDI's Executive
Director of Certification & Training, Rick Joslin.
The Summer
Doubleheader I will feature a discussion about Comaraderie and Staff
Development: How to be a Top-Five Employer in the IT Industry. This
discussion, led by Dr. Temares, will discuss the role and challenges of
the CIO, having the right employees, and how to work in a new
environment with new tools.
The Summer
Doubleheader II will show you how to properly integrate capturing,
structuring, and reusing knowledge into the incident management
process. It will also demonstrate how this improves service
effectiveness and efficiencies. Rick Joslin will also discuss the
challenges of implementing knowledge management and how you can
successfully get others to support this initiative, and MUCH MORE!

Report - Feds Probing Tech Recruiting Concerns
The Washington Post reported the U.S. Justince Department began a probe into top tech companies Google, Inc., Yahoo, Apple, and Genentech over concerns they violated antitrust laws by agreeing not to recruit top talent from one another. The newspaper's report cited two unnamed sources.
