This
is the electronic kaleidoscope that rotates at the touch of a button,
projecting an array of ever-changing colors on walls or ceilings. A
focused LED housed in the spherical chamber projects light through a
rotating, removable disc that contains differently colored plastic
shapes. Colored light is then refracted by three mirrors arranged in a
coaxial, triangular formation inside the barrel--the mirrors' taper
generates a multi-colored pattern. The removable disc's contents may be
supplanted by transparent beads or other small objects for different
colors. Two transparent knobs on either side of the light chamber each
house a single LED that changes colors, providing an ambient glow. A
knob on the front of the projector's tube enables you to focus the
pattern onto any flat surface. The projector easily fits on a desk or
table.
