5th Annual South Florida Code Camp Set For February
Join us on Saturday, February 27th at DeVry in Miramar for
a FREE one day GEEK FEST held on Saturday February 27, 2010. This is
the fifth year for South Florida Code Camp. The event will have
speakers from the local community and beyond. Speakers will be
presenting some of the most requested topics like ASP.NET AJAX, Visual
Studio 2008, MVC Framework, Silverlight, Windows Presentation
Foundation, Sharepoint 2007 and SQL Server 2005. This event is like
Tech-Ed for Free but it's community driven by a group of dedicated
volunteers and speakers. Breakfast and lunch is included!
Getting
accurate measurements is important whether it's a repair project in the
garage or a new experiment in the lab. Sometimes a fraction of an inch

meltdown. Of course we realize that sometimes complete meltdowns are

A majority of human resources professionals (54%) make their final decision to hire a person based on "chemistry," according to a poll released Tuesday by the Society for Human Resource Management.
It found that 15% of human resources professionals said chemistry accounts for 75% of the final decision to hire, and 39% said chemistry amounts to 50% of the final decision to hire.
The survey also found that 30% of human resources professionals made a decision not to hire within 15 minutes of meeting the job candidate. And 28% made a decision not to hire within five minutes.
Respondents to the survey included 498 randomly selected members of the Society for Human Resource Management who are recruiting professionals.
