Tech Tuesday Takes An "Elevator Ride"
Join us on Tuesday, May 25th in Downtown Miami as Tech Tuesday helps you with your "elevator" speech. An elevator speech is a short, persuasive description of a business idea used by entrepreneurs to capture the attention of potential investors. The term reflects the idea that it should be possible to deliver an effective pitch of a good idea in the time span of an elevator ride - generally about two minutes.
Venture capitalists often judge the quality of a business idea and executive team by the quality of its elevator pitch and will ask entrepreneurs for their elevator pitches in order to quickly week out bad ideas and weak teams. This is your chance to get quality feedback on your elevator pitch.

SFTA To Discuss US Government & Cloud Computing

An essential element for success is the maturation of cloud computing through research in key enabling technologies and national technical standards for interoperability, portability and security.
