100 Ways to Measure Social Media

100 ways to measure social media

I recently presented (as part of a panel) on Social Media Measurement. Each panelist chose their favorite metric and presented about it. I chose revenue, because that is the only one that truly matters. (Check out my presentation).

This link is from MediaPost, and lists 100 ways to measure your social media programs (revenue is in there). It is a very exhaustive list, and I am really not sure why you would use some of the measurements that are listed. They seem a little esoteric to me.  But there they are for when you are asked by your management or a client, “How are we going to measure these social media programs?”  You can whip out this list, and say, “Take your pick.”

Of course, the only one that truly matters is revenue.
