Jack Black
Actor
Jack Black, well known for his persona in the big screen, is much more relaxed in reality or at least that is the illusion that he projects during the interview. We are sitting with him at the hotel Casa del Mar in Santa Monica. With Jack we had dreamt the action of Poh in the franchise Kung Fu Panda, and in the film School of Rock. His portraits are always a great adventure for the audience. With a fantastic curiosity and a passion to learn Jack has taught himself a few languages as Spanish and French and he confesses trying constantly perfecting his Castilian watching Spanish movies in his original version.
Conquistadora
Esmeralda Santiago
Even as a young girl in nineteenth-century Spain, Ana Cubillas is drawn to the exotic island of Puerto Rico by the diaries of an ancestor who traveled there with Ponce de Leon. And in twin brothers Ramon and Inocente, both in love with Ana, she finds a way to get there: she marries Ramon and convinces the brothers that their destiny is in the remote sugar plantation they have inherited on the island.

La hija del papa
Cesar Vidal
Rome, 1871. The Government of a recently unified Italy summons cavaliere Di Fonso to examine a priceless manuscript guarded by the Jesuits. It does not take long for Di Fonso to date the manuscript to the early sixteenth century, a time where Italy was being torn apart by the constant rivalries with Spain and France and the intrigues of the Papal court, subjugated by a Spaniard from the Borgia family who was crowned as Pope Alexander VI.

Los días del arco iris
Antonio Skarmeta
The protagonist and the narrative voice of Rainbow Days is Nico, a youth who was forced to witness how his father, a college professor, was taken away by the authorities in front of the entire class. From that moment on, Nico struggles to ensure his father’s safe return. With the help of his girlfriend Patricia Bettini, and with a healthy dose of imagination and humor, Nico opens a path to freedom in a country silenced by dictatorship.

Los enamoramientos
Javier Marías
The last time I saw Miguel Desvern or Deverne was also the last time he saw his wife, Luisa. This was not only strange, but perhaps also unfair, since she was just that, his wife, and I was just a stranger…" Los enamoramientos, Marías' latest work, is a reflection on the state of infatuation, considered as something positive and even redeeming to the extent of justifying all: the most noble and selfless actions but also the largest excess and abuses.
