Hay Festival Segovia - Q&A: Juan Gabriel Vásquez
There’s s generous list of of great Latin American novels, but there aren’t that many great novel about Latin America. From my point of view, they’d have to be novels that in some way encopassed the entire continent or created a metaphor for Latin America to present to the rest of the world. Candidates: Nostromo, One Hundred Years of Solitude, Under the Volcano, Terra Nostra.
