Colombia guest of honor for upcoming LIBER book fair in Madrid
Final preparations are being made for the 2006 LIBER International Book Fair in Madrid, which will get underway in late September at the city’s IFEMA fairgrounds and honor Colombia as guest country.
Writers to discuss “ideal library” at Strasbourg gathering
A group of 37 writers from various countries, among them Spaniard Jose Manuel Fajardo and Argentine Alberto Manguel, will take part in a literary conference Sept. 26-30 in Strasbourg, France that will features debates on topics such as which books should be included in the “ideal library,” the organizers of the event announced.
