School dual-language
programs thriving
In the midst of a
budget crisis and deep cuts, dual-language program has continued to
thrive in local public schools.
Dual-language or two-way immersion programs generally don’t
require any additional funding, and some local districts have received
grants to help, officials said. The programs’ popularity
among local families also has given them a boost.

Jesús, el judío
César
Vidal
Jesus of
Nazareth is adored, venerated, and admired by millions and millions of
people. God, for some, teacher, for others. The truth, however, is that
his history and true teachings are largely ignored by the masses.
Centuries of revisions and manipulations have hidden the fact that
Jesus was not a Christian. Jesus was born, lived, and died a Jew, and
we cannot fully understand his teachings and impact on religion until
we fully understand that fact.

Lucía
Extebarría
The body of Pumuky, a
twenty-seven-year-old man who used to sing in a popular group, has been
found in a remote pine tree forest in Madrid’s surrounding
area with a bullet hole in his head. It is suicide? Was he shot? An if
so, who did it: his best friend, his fiancée, or the loan
shark to whom he owed money?.
