Divine Play AcroYoga Festival
The 2nd Annual Divine Play AcroYoga Festival is happening this weekend (October 7-10) in the Craneway Pavillion in Richmond, CA (just outside of San Fransisco). We are excited to be a part of this great event and to help support this global movement of connection, peace, and playfulness. More about the festival:
Daytime classes are for all levels, even those new to AcroYoga. Friday day-long intensives are an opportunity to do in-depth study, while the Main Festival offers over 100 classes to choose from. The international faculty includes master teachers in the respective fields of yoga, acrobatics and Thai massage, as well as over 50 certified AcroYoga teachers from around the world. At night, the greater community joins in for unique evenings of celebration and entertainment, including circus performances, dance parties, bodywork exchanges, and kirtan.
In Partnership with:
This year, the Festival is working in partnership with Africa Yoga Project and a portion of the proceeds will go to benefit the programs of AYP in Kenya. AYP founder and AcroYoga teacher Paige Elenson will be at the festival, teaching about African acrobatics and the yoga of service alongside key members of AYP from Kenya. The Give Love Bodywork Benefit on Saturday night, will be giving love in the form of first class therapeutic flights, and all proceeds from this event will benefit AYP. This event is open to everyone - not just festival pass holders - and tickets may be purchased here.
