So You Want to Visit Huntington?
Visiting college during your search is one of the most important components you'll experience. The college you choose will end up being your home for the next four years! Let's take a look at planning your college visit.
1. Select four or five colleges that interest you.
2. Contact the school's admissions office at least one week in advance to schedule
your visit.
3. Request that you meet with a professor and/or coach, attend class and/or chapel,
eat lunch or dinner, and spend the night if your schedule permits.
4. Research each college and investigate who you're visiting. Come up with a list of
questions.
5. Bring your parents. They may come up with some great questions and help you
remember the specifics about each college.
6. Try and visit when classes are in session to get the most realistic picture of the
campus.
