The Norm Report is a monthly email newsletter sent to junior and senior prospective students and parents. The topics focus on preparing for college, campus happenings, and fun! Please feel free to email any suggestions or comments about the newsletter to norm@huntington.edu.

This month we wanted to do something different with our newsletter. Instead of goin on about what is next in the seemingly endless college decision process, we wanted to take a different approach and simply inform you of the happenings on campus. But before we do that we have....
One Final Reminder: Please remember to send in your $100 student deposit so that you can sign up for Registration Weekend! Registration Weekend is a fun and informational time where you meet a lot of new people, register for your fall classes, and sit in on a few important sessions. You may even have the chance to meet your future roommate!
Staff, alumnus, students travel to Uganda to learn, minister
A team of three staff members, one alumnus and 10 students left for a 24-day mission trip to Uganda. While there, the group will worship with communities, show “The Jesus Film,” do construction work and facilitate vacation Bible schools. In addition, the team will meet with representatives from Uganda Christian University, Samaritan’s Purse, the U.S. Embassy and Wycliffe Bible Translators. Details >>
Ballinger illustrates book
Professor Bryan Ballinger, visiting instructor of digital media arts, had an entry accepted into Animago, a European Computer Graphics Festival, in the Robots category. Ballinger also has a new children's book for which he provided illustrations titled "Barney Backhoe Loves to Build."
Huntington Student spends semester in Ireland
For Huntington University junior Erin Hudson, studying in Ireland last semester is much more than a cultural experience abroad. It’s a way to connect with her family heritage. Both sides of Hudson’s family immigrated to the United States from Ireland during the devastating potato famine of the nineteenth century. Details >>
