Making your college decision
May is quickly approaching along with graduation (!) and summer break. For you juniors, you are probably looking forward to your senior year. For those of you who are graduating this spring, you either have or soon will be making your college decision.
Things to think about as a senior...
1. Pray - We ask that you are prayerfully considering where to attend in the fall as your
Admissions Counselor has been praying for you!
2. Continue to seek guidance from your family and your friends
3. Factor in value - consider where you are going to get the most out of your experience.
4. Consider cost

Rebekah Nimtz swaps roles with Huntington University President Dowden
Rebekah Nimtz, a senior English major from Cromwell, IN, had the privilage of serving as president-for-a-day at Huntington University. Nimtz was the winner of "Operation Switch with a President," a Student Senate fundraiser to help raise money for the Fund Allocation Committee, a group that supports student-centered events. Department of Social Work receives candidacy status
The Huntington University Department of Social Work has achieved candidacy status from the Office of Social Work Accreditation and Educational Excellence, a division of the Council on Social Work Education. This benchmark means that next year's seniors - the first to come out of the program - will graduate from an accredited program.

High School Art Exhibit Winners
Huntington University recently hosted a high school art exhibit from March 7-25, 2006, in the Robert E. Wilson Gallery of the Merillat Centre for the Arts. Ninety-eight students, grades 9-12, from nine high schools were represented at the show.
