The college search can often be an intimidating and sometimes overwhelming process. This month we are suggesting a few questions that will help you get started down the right path...

1. What are your interests academically? Spiritually? Socially?

2. What size school do you want to attend?

3. How far from home do you want to travel?

4. What career path are you interested in pursuing?

5. What opportunities are available for spiritual growth? (for example: college
     ministries, outreach opportunities, mission trips, etc.)

6. How much cost is involved? How much is your family willing to contribute?

7. What kind of Financial Aid is available to you?

8. What is the general student profile at the college you're considering?

With these in mind, also realize that your college years can be some of the most life-changing experiences you will ever have, so it is important to carefully consider all of the aspects of the colleges you are considering. Treat your college search as you would a $100,000 purchase...with care and concern.
